How do I switch my career to IT from different background.

 Yes, Its all possible if you have intense desire to work in IT industry.

Its never be late to start anything/ anytime. we are are living our life in our own Timezone. 

First you will have to check your interest in which area you are willing to make career in IT, because in IT there are two major areas, i.e. "Development/Testing" and "Support"

If you find your answers is Development then check point A, If Support then point B:

A)

In this field you can make your career if you are good in logical thinking or If you are good at programming. no matter which language. 

So check with your capability and try to learn any coding language first ex. C, C++. try for 3 month don't spent more time. if you feel that you are enjoying coding and can write a code by your own. then go for it else leave it.. and think about Support.

If you can code and enjoy it then i would suggest you to do a good course and take proper training for at least one year. Can contact me for more details on my contact form write me a msg.

B )In Support Field we will discussing about Infrastructure support not development support/testing that is another part in development and testing, forget about that if are not at all interesting in coding.

In infrastructure field we are having multiple technology/subfields, listed below few of them:

1) Networking

2) Desktop/Server Support

3) Hardware

Now here i wont be able to explain all in one but if you are interested in infrastructure support you will have to go through above all three in initial phase then you can do specialization in one of them and make a successful career.
